Michael Cheeks
Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Michael leads AE Investors with a clear focus on investment strategy and capital allocation. Drawing from a strong background in asset and operational management, Michael specializes in sourcing and analyzing high-potential multifamily opportunities, designing data-driven underwriting frameworks, and building relationships with institutional investors. He oversees the firm’s value-add strategies and exit planning, ensuring each deal aligns with AE Investors’ rigorous investment criteria and delivers optimal returns.
Prior to forming AE Investors, Michael was an Associate at Goldman Sachs, where he managed over $3 billion in institutional investor assets across public equities and private assets. During his tenure at McKinsey & Company, Michael played a pivotal role in generating due diligence insights that influenced high-stakes investment decisions for private equity firms. This background equips him with the expertise to analyze complex opportunities and execute strategies that maximize investor returns.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and Accounting from Clemson University, where he was a 2x NCAA All-American in Track and Field.

Jordan Greene
As Chief Operating Officer, Jordan brings operational expertise to AE Investors, ensuring that every property under management meets and exceeds performance expectations. With a hands-on approach to due diligence, renovations, and tenant relations, Jordan is instrumental in executing value-add strategies that maximize NOI and deliver stabilized cash flows. Jordan brings significant institutional investment expertise to AE Investors, developed during his tenure at JPMorgan’s Private Bank. There, he advised and allocated capital across both public and private markets for family offices, endowments and C-suite executives. His ability to assess operational feasibility and manage project risks allows AE Investors to execute efficiently while maximizing property-level NOI
Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Finance from Clemson University. While there, he was a 4-year starter and ACC Champion on the baseball team.
