Meet the Minds Behind AE Investors

Michael Cheeks

Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Michael leads AE Investors with a disciplined focus on investment strategy and capital allocation. Leveraging a background in asset management and operational improvement, he specializes in sourcing and underwriting multifamily opportunities with clear value-creation potential. He directs the firm’s value-add execution and exit strategy, ensuring each investment meets AE Investors’ rigorous underwriting standards and risk-adjusted return objectives.

Prior to founding AE Investors, Michael was an Associate at Goldman Sachs, where he worked with institutional investors across public and private markets. He also served at McKinsey & Company, advising private equity clients on commercial due diligence and value creation initiatives that informed high-impact investment decisions.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and Accounting from Clemson University, where he was a 2x NCAA All-American in Track and Field.

Jordan Greene

Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Jordan brings operational expertise to AE Investors, ensuring that every property under management meets and exceeds performance expectations. With a hands-on approach to due diligence, renovations, and tenant relations, Jordan is instrumental in executing value-add strategies that maximize NOI and deliver stabilized cash flows. Jordan brings significant institutional investment expertise to AE Investors, developed during his tenure at JPMorgan’s Private Bank. There, he advised and allocated capital across both public and private markets for family offices, endowments and C-suite executives. His ability to assess operational feasibility and manage project risks allows AE Investors to execute efficiently while maximizing property-level NOI

Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a minor in Finance from Clemson University. While there, he was a 4-year starter and ACC Champion on the baseball team.
